The concept was simply to provide a web based alternative to a brochure that was produced each year by each manufacturer to hand out to school leavers who were looking to get into the automotive industry. The brochures offered a simple overview of the course with an end page that could be completed by interested school leavers and then sent back to the Carter & Carter group for processing.
By using the web to provide the core detail of the Subaru course, the marketing team could focus on creating a targeted marketing campaign that sparked teenager’s imagination rather than just present basic facts. Teenagers that were interested could then go online to access a full profile of the course, calendar of events and then click through into the application database saving time, money and resources. The template solution continues to be rolled across other manufacturers.
